This reception desk is very unique and is made using the ancient technique of Shou Sugi Ban where pine is flame charred and rubbed back to seal and weatherproof the wood.

The steel fame is hand welded and gives a very industrial look and is painted in a Matt Black metallic paint.

Perfect for office or retail this Reception Desk comes fully assembled and is handmade in Braidwood Australia by our talented local artisan.

Materials

Manufactured with a combination of 19mm Pine and Formica Branded Melamine Board.

The Pine is supplied in a natural state and can be left as is or can have a yearly application of furniture oil or wax.

The melamines we use have been designed and manufactured to a physical and chemical standard. The standard is equal to or greater than the international standards established for High Pressure Laminates. (HPL) The standard used is NEMA LD3.2005.

The melamine we use is suitable for shop fitting, kitchen bench tops, office furniture and workstations. Hair dressers have tested this laminate for stain resistance to their dyes and chemicals and have found them to have no effect on it.

CARE & CLEANING

Melamines and Laminates are easily cleaned with any household cleaner. Timbers should be cleaned with a damp cloth and can have a yearly application of timber oil.

Our Reception counters are made to order in Sydney and the time to Manufacture is between 21 - 30 Days.

 

Please note our production is fully booked for 2021 and any orders received now will be completed after the 1/2/2022.

 

This counter is delivered fully assembled, Shipping will be charged separately after you purchase your counter.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION

Your Reception counter is delivered as a fully assembled piece of furniture. It is shipped on a wheeled wooden skid. The counter is triple wrapped in Heavy duty Bubble Wrap, Thick Cardboard and Heavy Duty Cling Film and all critical edges have heavy duty cardboard corner protectors. You only need to push your counter from the street curb to your chosen location and lift the counter off the skid.
